October 18, 2025-Design Mastery Session 2:From Skillset to Income.

Yesterday, UDZII hosted Design Masteryโ€”Session 2: From Skillset to Income, a lively 2-hour masterclass led by Muntashir Mahmud Angelโ€”creative graphic designer, founder of Aesthetic Angel, and a practitioner with two years of hands-on experience in Adobe and Canva. The session drew participants from around the worldโ€”Comoros, Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Guinea, Somalia, and Malaysiaโ€”and brought together the full UDZII board, including CEO Abdirahman Dalsoor, COO Sow Mahmoud, and Head of Education Mr. Mamadou Malal Diallo.

A practical, hands-on masterclass
Rather than a slide-heavy lecture, Muntashir ran a practical workshop in which he designed an advertisement poster live, walking participants through each step and showing exactly where to find tools, how to apply gradients, how to crop efficiently, and many other actionable techniques. The class was structured so attendees could follow along, ask questions in real time, and get clarifications on workflow, composition, and the business side of design.
Participants described the session as immediately useful not just for making attractive graphics, but for producing client-ready social media content that sells.

From hobby to serviceโ€”the Aesthetic Angel story
Muntashir also shared his personal journey founding Aesthetic Angel. He explained how the project began as a passion for creating visual work and how it evolved into a service-based business. These lines framed the masterclassโ€™s dual focus: craft plus commerce build excellent work, then package and sell it.

Attendees & atmosphere
The virtual room felt international and energized participants from multiple continents tuned in and engaged throughout. The full UDZII board attended, reinforcing the organizationโ€™s commitment to practical skills and professional development: Abdourahmane Dalsoo (CEO), Sow Mahmoud (COO), and Mr. Mamadou Malal Diallo (Head of Education) joined attendees for the closing group photo.

Closing and next steps
The session ended on a high note with a group photo and clear next steps for attendees: practice the techniques learned, join the speakerโ€™s WhatsApp group for follow-up support, and explore the freelancing platforms Muntashir recommended to start converting design skill into income.
